The ICCA Data Manual has been released to support communities, indigenous peoples and those who work with them to register their ICCAs. The manual describes things to consider before registering, how to register, and what to expect afterwards. It is available in 3 languages: English, French and Spanish.

The GEF Small Grants Programme (SGP), implemented by UNDP, mobilizes bottom up actions by supporting community-led initiatives which address global environmental issues. During the reporting year, July 2016 - June 2017 (FY17), SGP provided grant funding for 1,120 new projects, committing a total amount of USD 35.9 million. The total number of grant projects under implementation were 3,125 projects, reflecting grant value of USD 107.8 million.
