The project will based on enhancing agri-food production and value chains to increase resilience mountain communities which includes managing degraded/barren land to increase production of mountain produces, improved competitiveness of the products produce by mountain women small farmers cooperative for sustainable business and income.

Project Characteristics and Results
Inovative Financial Mechanisms
The learning of implementation process will be share during sharing workshops/Meeting. The project plan will be documented through leaflet, spread through FM/Media. The project success storied will be share among the local leaders, workshops.
Gender Focus
The project is implemented by the 535 Mountain women cooperative members. All the women have equal opportunity based on their land unit and capacities. In this cooperative indigenous people -women are already member and if interested those who are not member may get opportunity to register as a member based on cooperative rules and regulation. Moreover, Male will support to their partners (Female) to implement /manage their farmland according to the business plan made by women in close discussion and decision with their male at household level. In fact, the production plan will be prepared with discussion of household members. So, role of male already managed in household level by each women member. Regarding Budget allocation of all activities have equal opportunity to each member because based on their land and production they can sell and raise income from the executive committee. Mountain Women Cooperative Executive Committee will play a crucial role to manage under value chains and trade.
