Plants and animals are so very much inter connected that we cannot separate them for each other. Documenting indigenous knowledge is one of the most important ways to preserve, valorize and transfer this knowledge to the next generation. Because of Climate change, there has been a tremendous increase in the lost of plant species around the world therefore encouraging its domestication will help in land restoration and the protection of traditional knowledge.
