Macedonia is flooded by suspicious toys that can contain hazardous chemicals, and have no declarations, nor is known who imports them. No one in the country controls toys, often containing toxic and carcinogenic substances that are proven to cause, among other things, infertility in girls, damage to the nervous system, allergies. Because of the low price, parents buy more and more toys, which due to poor quality, quickly break and end up on landfills. Plants and animals are so very much inter connected that we cannot separate them for each other. Documenting indigenous knowledge is one of the most important ways to preserve, valorize and transfer this knowledge to the next generation. Because of Climate change, there has been a tremendous increase in the lost of plant species around the world therefore encouraging its domestication will help in land restoration and the protection of traditional knowledge.
